Lets Cross and Explore an old train bridge that was partly responsible for giving the Steel City its name. This is known as the Carrie Furnace Hot Metal Bridge and the first train to cross it was in 1900. After sitting abandoned for nearly 40yrs, this bridge is about to get a new life. Before that happens, we're going to explore this behemoth from both the land and the air. Not only is there some interesting history with this structure, but its design is rather unique as well. Come along as we cross the Monongahela river and see what remains of the Carrie Furnace Hot Metal Bridge.
