1. The first step to finding the right helmet is determining your helmet size. This is done by measuring your head.
2. Now that you know your helmet size, you need to try the helmet on to see if it fits properly.
3. Does the helmet feel snug and secure without pressuring your forehead or temple? Then there are two tests you can perform.
4. Move the chin bar of the helmet from the left to the right, while moving your head in the opposite direction. There shouldn’t be too much play.
5. Check how much room you have between your forehead and the helmet. You can do so by placing one hand on the rear of the helmet pushing it forward. At the same time you can use the pinkie of your other hand to measure how much room there is. Your pinkie should fit between the helmet and your forehead.
