This is my 1977 Motorola Mocat (or is that Meercat....."Simples") 40 CB Radio listening DX from the USA on 6th March 2011.
These radios were bought by CBers in the States ,but also were favoured by the Law Enforcement agencies and fitted in many Police Cruisers so Smokey Bear could have some "Ears". They are of a rugged design and indeed many Police Cars still have them fitted along with their Police radios.
