In 2021, after traveling along the shores of Lake Baikal, we decided to make a short trip to the Multinsky Lakes. We went by train to Barnaul, then by bus to the village of Multa in Gorny Altai. From there we went directly to the lakes, of which there are a great many in those parts. We visited the most popular Strong, actually Multinsky (Lower, Middle and Upper) and Transverse lakes. As always, Altai pleased with mountain landscapes, wild animals and nature. The hike was short, but very interesting.
