Mountain Tarn Wild Camping | Peace and Solitude in the Lake District National Park

In this video, I head up to a stunning mountain tarn in the Lake District National Park. I chose the TarpTent Stratospire 1 as my shelter as I wanted to keep the weight down knowing I was taking a lot of camera and audio equipment.

The weather was sunny and dry which was a nice change, although the breeze still had a chill to it. I pitched the tent next to the tarn and took in my surroundings, listening to nothing but the sound of the water lapping at the shore, distant sheep on the fells and Skylark singing on the wing.

Simple evening meal of pasta bolognese with a few craft beers made for a great evening out in the mountains.
