Once described as "the loveliest village in England" by poet Dylan Thomas, Mousehole certainly doesn't disappoint. This charming Cornish fishing village is located just a couple of miles from Penzance and the beautiful little harbour is very much unspoilt.

To catch Mousehole at its very best I headed over early on a Spring morning towards high tide. As expected the harbourfront cottages where lit up with golden sunlight and the only sounds were the sea lapping the sand accompanied by the cry of the gulls.

Oh, and if you were wondering it's pronounced Mowzel!
