Cooking and Storing

Does Peach Cobbler remind you of another time or place. It does that for me. This video will show you how to make a delicious peach cobbler from ingredients that you most likely already have on hand. You can use a quart of fresh, frozen or canned peaches. You can easily have this tasty treat in the oven in 10 minutes. It doesn't get much simpler. I think you and your family will enjoy this recipe where the peaches are allowed to shine.

Easy Peach Cobbler
1 stick of butter
32 ounces of peaches
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar (I use a little less)
! cup self rising flour
11/2 tsp Pure Vanilla
1 tsp or more of lemon juice
While oven is preheating to 350 Degrees; place butter in a 9x13 inch glass or metal container and place into the preheating oven to melt. .
While butter melts mix all other ingredients together except lemon juice.
Remove butter from oven and pour prepared batter directly onto the butter, but do not stir. Pour peaches onto the batter and again do not stir. Sprinkle lemon juice onto peaches. Bake until crust rises to the top and turns golden brown. Ovens vary so start checking at 40 minutes and continue to bake until golden.
