Sorry we have been MIA for the past few weeks…we have had a family wedding, Southampton boat show and generally work and life getting in the way of things! In this video we FINALLY move Sea Gypsy to her new home for the Winter. If you have been here from the start you will know this has been a long time coming and is another big step in our journey. Being in Glasson Dock means that we can live aboard a lot more as Ashley can commute to work and I can work from home more often, meaning our big list of jobs to get finished can properly commence!
Ashley finally breaks through into our bunk room, we prepare for our last trip out of Fleetwood’s gates and head back to Piel Island for the second time; where we spend 3 nights on a mooring buoy and squeeze in some mackerel fishing, a 3 hour zoom call with Ragged Edge Chandlery regarding everything rigging and a few visits to the islands pub!
As we made our well anticipated passage over to Glasson, we had the joy of being accompanied by dolphins, had a fry up under way and tackled the daunting task of making it through Glasson’s lock gates and into our berth. We hope you enjoy!
