It is known for its beautiful landscapes, including the "Appalachian Mountains" and the "Monongahela National Forest". The state is also home to many outdoor recreational activities, such as hiking, fishing, and hunting. Today, it is known for its coal mining industry and for being the birthplace of the famous country singer, Brad Paisley.
