In a fascinating panel of tension, the young successful pianist Anna Khomichko presents works from the 18th century on her debut CD in cooperation with the SWR. Mozart meets the Bach sons Carl Philipp Emanuel and Johann Christian, as well as the alleged competitor and a piano star of his time Muzio Clementi. In the flexible and clear piano playing of the critically acclaimed artist, the differences and similarities between the works, the personalities of the composers and the taste of the time come to the fore. Khomichko, who is also successful as a classical music blogger, takes up the cause of a wideranging, sensual repertoire that is absolutely worth discovering.
