Visible from downtown Vancouver and Victoria on a clear day, the stratovolcano that is Mt Baker or Kulshan rises to a height of 3288m/10786 feet. Its shining white glaciers are due to it being one of the snowiest places in the world, and after Mt Rainier has the most glacier cover of the Cascade Range volcanoes. The mountain is approximately 48km straight east of Bellingham, Washington, and has the second most thermally active crater after Mt St. Helens. In this video, Nadine, myself, and my border collie Nina attempt Mt Baker via the Easton glacier, and ski and splitboard back down. Thanks for watching!
