Mt. Garfield - An Easy 4000-footer with a GREAT view!

Mt. Garfield is my 40th 4,000footer, and, aside from Hale, might also be the easiest. It's a really steady ascent with an amazing payoff/view!

When we started the hike it was 45 degrees, but it quickly dropped below freezing. If you are hiking in the shoulder season, remember that the White Mountains' weather can be truly unpredictable.
