In this video I attempt my #8 for the NH Winter 48 on Mt Monroe. I had to eventually make a decision on wether to carry on after the Hut and make my final push to the summit through clouds and wind.. I try and always make it a priority to make safe decisions while in the mountains and knowing the the weather especially in this range turns from bad to worse at the drop of a hat I decided to call it off. I will return for the summit on a safer day. It's sometimes a super hard decision to make and a bit of a mental game, but i believe listening to your gut is usually the best choice. I wasn't feeling good about it so I listened to that.

Please don't attempt any hike especially in winter without preparing ahead of time with proper gear, clothing and food.
