Twenty years ago I flew past Mt. Rainier on a business trip. I made a promise that someday I'd climb it. Took a while, but it happened.

One year of planning, four months of training, this was a five day trip with RMI including equipment checks, mountaineering school, two nights at Camp Muir and a successful summit attempt.
