A tribute to the Ex Bee Line buses operated under the MTA. Used to be 401484 with Bee Line (their original owner) until being retired in 2009 and were planned to be scrapped. At the same time the MTA was retiring their TMC RTSs from MTA Bus and was having a shortage in Queens. As a result the MTA purchased the 84 buses to increase compensate for the bus shortage and Bee Line sold them to the MTA. Once numbered 101184 and put in revenue service in November 2009 they ran under almost all MTA Bus depots in Queens except College Point but did operate on the Q25. These buses were the most unique Orion 5.501 diesel buses i ever saw in general and oe most interesting sounding Orion V diesels i ever heard. These are now no longer in revenue service but there's still 6 or 7 buses in existace now.
