Worli Hit And Run Case: Shortly after Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah was granted bail in the Worli hitandrun case on Monday, Pradeep Nakhwa, husband of the late Kaveri Nakhwa, expressed frustration over the delay in apprehending the main accused, Mihir Shah.

Pradeep Nakhwa called for severe punishment for the driver and lamented that his wife could have been saved if the driver had stopped immediately after the accident.

Nakhwa said, "We were riding at a speed of 30 to 35 kilometers per hour when a speeding car hit us from behind. The impact caused us to land on the bonnet of the car."

He further stated, "We were struck by a speeding car... Both of us were thrown onto the bonnet of the accused's vehicle... The driver did not stop and continued to drag my wife for kilometers".

He recounted the incident to the media, stating that they were returning from Crawford Market on Sunday morning after purchasing fish when their twowheeler was struck from behind by a speeding car at approximately 5:30 am. Kaveri Nakhwa was riding pillion at the time of the collision.
