অনেকদিনপরে আবারও আমি আপনাদের সামনে একটি বিজনিসের ভিডিও নিয়ে উপস্থিত হলাম। আজ আমি আপনাদের জন্য পৃথিবীর বিক্ষ্যাত মুর্শিদাবাদ সিল্ক শাড়ির খুচরো ও পাইকারি স্টরে নিয়ে যাবো।

যেখানে আপনি খুব কম দামে বিখ্যাত বিখ্যাত সব ধরনের মুর্শিদাবাদ শিল্ক শাড়ি পেয়েজাবেন। যেমন গরদের জামদানী,কাঞ্জিভরম,মটকা প্রিন্ট, ঘিচা প্রিন্ট, হ্যান্ডলুম শাড়ি, তাঁত, জারদোসী, কাশ্মীরী স্টিচ, করিয়াল, আরো কত কি।

বেঙ্গল সিল্কের টানে ভারতবর্ষের অন্যান্য রাজামহারাজারাও বাংলায় পাইকপেয়াদাপন্ডিত পাঠিয়ে রেশম চাষের দীক্ষা নিতেন। কথিত আছে, রেশম চাষের পদ্ধতি ও ব্যবসায় সম্পর্কে হাতেকলমে অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনের জন্য শেরে মহীশুর টিপু সুলতান মহীশুরের তাঁতিদের পাঠিয়েছিলেন এই বাংলায়।

বাংলা থেকেই পরে উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ ভারতে গুটি পোকা তার জাল বিস্তার করে, রেশম বিস্তৃত হয়। এই বেঙ্গল সিল্ক তখন ইউরোপে রপ্তানি করা হতো। ইস্ট ইন্ডিয়া কোম্পানি ভারতে আসে রেশমের টানে।

রেশম বাণিজ্যে দখলদারিত্ব থেকেই পরে তারা ঔপনিবেশিক দখলদারিত্ব কায়েম করে। বাংলায় রেশমের ইতিহাস আরো দীর্ঘ!
