Ischial Tuberosity

Insertion:
Posterior Surface of the Medial Condyle of the Tibia

Functions:
1Flexion of the Leg @ the Knee Joint
2Extension of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
3Medial Rotation of the Leg @ the Knee Joint (When the Knee is “Flexed”)

Nerve:
Tibial Nerve (Sciatic Nerve) [L5, S1, S2]

Activation: (Prone) Resist Flexion of the Leg and Extension of the Thigh
Lengthening: (Supine) Extend the Leg into the Table
