Isochronic tones are regular vibrations of a single tone with a pulsating effect at a specific frequency. These distinctive pulsating tones can cause the brain to adjust or adapt to the frequency of the tone. In this music, the isochronic tones pulsate at a frequency of 1Hz, 2Hz and 3Hz respectively.

These frequencies lie within the range of delta brainwaves (0.1 4 Hz). Delta waves are the slowest recorded brain waves in human beings.
