Braids is another example that old modules never really age. They just get vintage. I couldn't resist trying to find differences between the VCV version and the real thing. Sure, the waveforms sound exactly the same, but I dare to say that real Braids has more 'body' and it responds differently to real fingers. It's picking nits, but they're not 100% the same. Sure, the biggest advantage of virtual Braids is that it's free and you can have lots of copies. The biggest advantage of real Mutable gear is that you can install alternative firmwares. It's a struggle you just can't lose.
