"We all like you better without testosterone" my daughter surprised me by telling me the other day. After confirming that was the general consensus we talked about it and I had to agree I do seem to be a nicer person now. Two years on Lupron with one more year still to go I started wondering how I would be when the testosterone returned. I realize that the "Type A" qualities will likely reappear for both better and worse. But I have decided that I won't let "hormones make the man." I will learn from these testosteronefree years to be the best person I can be. To, as Tim McGraw sings, "Love deeper and speak sweeter."
