This piccolo (or flute) tone exercise is wonderful, not only to develop sound, flexibility, control, lyricism, etc but ALSO, very importantly on the piccolo, intonation.

Have you heard the joke about getting two piccolo players to play in tune? How do you do it? You shoot one of them..... let's not resort to that!
