Believe it or not, this video took 3 months to make I first started it in April, but took several periods of time to procrastinate lol, so I got stuck in a cycle of working on the stop motion and working on other things, all while the set waited on the floor of my bedroom Let's just say I'm REALLY happy to finally clean it up and upload it!!
As for the video, this scene has been on my list to remake for a loooong time, and it was a blast to make little doll versions of the von Trapps! And huge thank you to my mom who offered to sponsor the video and buy a few pairs of doll pj's

Also if any of you are wondering which doll is which, or where Maria's head came from, I bought a singular doll head off of eBay (that sounds so weird to say lol) and a blond boy doll wig from etsy, and put the wig on the head. Then I took the old head off of one of my preexisting dolls and replaced it with the new head I did pretty much the same thing with Kurt too. So now I have extra doll heads

I also attempted to put a vintage filter on it in postproduction, because it occurred to me that movies like the Sound of Music used to be made on actual film, and not just digital images which look different. So I made it more grainy, a bit blurry, and added halation, which apparently is, by definition, "a bright ring that sometimes surrounds a bright object on a television screen" Here's the Youtube tutorial I used if you want to do it yourself! :)
