My FIRST FIRST CLASS! British Airways to Silicon Valley: 787-9

Welcome to a VERY special flight for me as today I will be flying in my very first FIRST CLASS experience! The British Airways 7879 has 8 TRUE FIRST CLASS seats. The experience is night and day from even the Business Class cabin/experience! I was especially excited because of the service to San Jose, CA considering it's a local airport of mine as an alternative to San Francisco, and I always enjoy long haul flights to small airports.

San Jose has had plenty of International traffic. Prior to the pandemic, having ANA to Tokyo, Hainan to Beijing, British to Heathrow, Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Air China to Shanghai, and a number of flights to Canada and Mexico. Now, in the postpandemic age, we are seeing British Airways back, as well as Zipair starting up service as well to Tokyo. Silicon Valley is intriguing to airlines to hoping to reduce fees and pulling out of SFO for cheaper alternatives.

I booked this flight with 85,000 American Airlines AAdvantage Miles plus about $600 in taxes and fees which is normal for flights in and out of London. Ugh!
