I didn't think I'd actually cry lol...

On July 28th, 2020 I flew solo for the first time at the age of 19 years old. I always dreamt it'd happen on my 16th birthday and that I'd get my private pilots license at 17 but sometimes things don't work out as planned. I started flight training at 13 in a Diamond DA20 but unfortunately had to stop at 15 due to my flight school falling apart. I wasn’t able to train for 3 years and slowly started picking it up again at 18. I passed my written exam last summer and after many delays, we made it here. My first solo in a Cessna 152 at Kenosha Airport using 25L :)
