This was one of the best aviation experiences of my life: the onceinalifetime opportunity to fly on a C17 with the Aviation Explorers Post 352. It was about a 3 hour flight, much of it being along the coast. I was very surprised that they were able to do a tactical takeoff, descent, and landing for us. That's just something that you will not be able to be a part of very often.

They were also able to organize an airtoair refueling during the flight. We were not in the cockpit when they were doing it, but we did get a nice view of the refueling plane above us!
