I've been at my current dermatologist since June 2020, so I have been this is my hair loss regiment since then. In this video I share with the the medications I'm taking in order to combat my hair loss: minoxidil, zinc, spironolactone and iron. Back in April 2020 I had dengue fever which triggered acute telogen effluvium. I lost a lot of my hair during the shedding phase (minoxidil dread shed) and have been growing it back since. I also suffer with female pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) and low iron which is why I will be continuing these medications for the forseeable future.

If you are suffering with hair loss, please go to see a doctor. This video is anecdotal, and what may work for me, may not work for you. Hair loss is specific to the individual. My hope by putting out this video is that you recognise your potential hair loss triggers, and seek medical help. Do not be afraid to seek the opinion of more than one medical professional!

Nizoral helps with scalp dermatitis, minoxidil is for hair stimulation, if you cannot tolerate the topical liquid then try the foam instead (that's what I did), the Loreal root spray helps cover up parts of your scalp that are more noticeable, and the conditioner is just the conditioner I use to keep my hair moisturized from using Nizoral so much (it will not aid in hair loss).
