This was a difficult project. I literally spent several weeks working on just one of these bowls, and at multiple points I was about to give up. I decided to plow on through, and I came up with some of the best techniques on how to do incredibly tight and accurate wood inlays that are a full one inch deep. Follow along as I make this bowl, going through some trials and tribulations. The basic bowl is a hexagonal shape, the same hex shape from my epoxyhex bowl ( • CNC Machined Hexagonal Salad Bowl wit... ) but I came up with an entirely new way to make it. This was made on my Avid CNC machine.

Let me know if you want me to update the file to include this inlay. PS: the inlay shape is the top of a pineapple to give it a tropical feel.
