Hi everyone, I have gotten a lot of questions about what is next for me as an educator, but before I get there, I thought it was important for me to sit down and share some of my story with you. This month, is mental health awareness month, and I think this video has come at a perfect time. I think it is important to talk about mental health, I believe it is something that should be normalized and discussed. Sharing my story over the past two years has been a true journey, but I do it because you never know who you could help along the way who could also be battling anxiety and PTSD. I have learned that it is okay to not be okay, to surrender to our feelings, and to listen to our hearts, because it will always guide us towards where we are meant to be. In this video, I open up to you about my teaching journey from my student teaching days, to my first year, to overcoming tragedy, to where I am today. I hope you know that you are not alone. You are strong. You are worthy of new beginnings. Thank you all for being here and for supporting me throughout this journey.
