Three tips to improve pull ups for beginners
1. Focus on generating tension
2. External rotation of shoulders
3. Film yourself
These are a few tips that have helped me in my pull ups journey. The pull up is an extremely technical movement, but these are a few pointers which can help improve your performance.
As I said in the video, if you are in doubt about anything, just film what you are doing and watch the footage back. This may be one of the most important pieces of advice I could give. By analysing the footage, we can really understand the technique so much better!
