I am a C5 C6 quadriplegic for 33 years and this is how I do my wheelchair transfers every morning. I am working on improving my transfers with some upperbody strengthening by working on my triceps and straightening out my arm so that my elbows lock when I do my transfers so that they are safer and more efficient and I don't have to use my head and neck muscles to offload the weight of my butt as I swing my butt over to my chair.
