My Sculpting Journey from 2015 to 2024

Clay Bum

Today, I will show you my creations from my very first to the most recent.

2015 (0:04): This is when I first started creating charms. I used polymer clay back then, but I only had a toaster oven and a limited budget for expensive clay. During this time, I also learned about cold porcelain clay (homemade clay), which was very inexpensive and didn't require baking. This helped me a lot when I was just starting.

2016 (0:53): I began making lots of charms and figures as gifts. I also completed my first local commission sale, albeit for a very low price.

2017 (1:38): I started using polymer clay again and created dog figurines, even though they weren't my preference. This was also the year I started selling on Etsy and receiving commissions from there.

2018 (3:51): I returned to using airdry clays (specifically Super Light ADC). I began making YouTube tutorials, creating charms, and handling lots of commissions.

2019 (5:34): This year, I made various characters, primarily from commissions. I continued using Super Light clay for commissions and DIY clay for other figures.

2020 (7:41): I focused on sculpting with Super Light and DIY clay. I wanted to make more YouTube tutorials, but I still needed to accept commissions to make a living.

2021 (8:37): I started using resin airdry clay for my work. I prefer this over DIY clay because it is less timeconsuming, requires less kneading and cooking, and doesn't shrink as much.

2022 (10:51): This year, my work output decreased because I got married and had a very sensitive pregnancy, which made it hard to work. My commissions were very limited, and I only made charms and figures that didn't sell much.

2023 (12:31): Many Bunplants are still available up to now. This year has been challenging as a fulltime mom.

2024 (12:53): I'm trying to make more YouTube tutorials for you all.

Please like and comment so that YouTube will suggest my videos to others.

Thank you so much for watching! (˶⸃ ⴰ⸃˶)♡
