My Solar Shed

The Vacay Diaries

A quick tour of my solar shed in my garden. I can power a 75w freezer 24hrs a day, boil full 2 kettles and charge or use various other equipment.
Here is my solar shed setup:
Renogy 30a mppt charge controller
1500w pure sine inverter 9
360w solar panels (120w each) which are also made by renogy
ecoworthy 100ah 12.8v lithium battery (which give around 1200wh)

My second system is a 100w solar panel
eco worthy inverter/charge controller (pwm)
50ah eco worthy 12.8v lithium battery
This system is primarily used for charging laptops, phones and my apple watch.

I tried using a lead leisure battery but it took around 4 times longer to charge and also discharged much quicker. The lithium batteries are really worth it as you get almost the whole capacity. I would say that my inverter cuts off at around 10 percent of the battery.

It was very easy for me to set up the solar shed and all of the equipment, took around 2 hours for the big one and maybe an hour for the smaller one with 100w panel.

going for monocrystaline will yield better power absortion than polycrystaline.

Any questions I will try to answer in another video, ask away!
