Probably one of my biggest 'My Take on' videos in a while. A more or less enhanced version of the original 1986 titles for the famous british game show called 'Blockbusters'. This is also an experiment for practicing city textures. In this title remake or rather, a mock, the city is completely modeled from scratch and has a bit of ambient occlusion for more realistic shading and shadows.

The camera is clamped to a curve for a smooth fly through animation. Oh, and the earth? I basically used the same Earth file I've made but added a space background. Fog glow has also been included to make it more futuristic. For the hexagon animations, most of them are clamped to a curve with some grouped to the camera. Additional effects were made in MAGIX Vegas like the transitions and the grid animation.

And the music, basically mashing up the BBC Proms version of the theme and the original theme in a similar style to WhoProductions' version of the Blockbusters title sequence from 2011 but is edited to have no clapping sound at the end so you can hear the whole theme in its entire glory. I also sneaked in or rather, plastered some references to other stuff just because. Anyway, four days it took me to model and adding the additional stuff and I'm pleased with the results I've got.
