The secret to second language acquisition is regular immersion and mass input. But what does that mean? Can you learn English by watching movies and TV shows? Yes! That is a very important part of it, but it’s only one factor. In order to truly immerse yourself in a language, you need to make sure you are activating your receptive and productive skills – that means listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
