The ICN2 held its first webminar, and it worked smoothly! In this talk Prof. Anders Hagfeldt overviewed the virtue of nanomaterials for solar energy conversion using as examples dyesensitized (DSSC) and perovskite solar cells (PSC) as well as Cu2O photoelectrodes for hydrogen production.

Prof. Anders Hagfeldt is Professor in Physical Chemistry at Laboratory of Photomolecular Science, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) (Switzerland). His talk was hosted by Prof. Mónica Lira Cantu, Group Leader of the ICN2 Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy Group.

Through this webminar we enjoyed a Manuel Cardona Lecture that never happened because of the context created by the new coronavirus disease. Prof. Pablo ordejón, Director of the ICN2, made the institutuional presentation and had a warm reminder for Prof. Manuel Cardona.
