This sonic boom happens when an aircraft flies faster than the speed of sound. This sound is really loud and the vibration that accompanies it is strong enough to shatter glass windows. However, Lockheed Martin’s skunk work division has created a solution to this in the form of the quiet supersonic aircraft, the Xfiftynine. How did they achieve this staggering feat?
