This week on social media, an official of a NASCAR sponsor brought up a controversial topic that has been talked about since the Next Gen car debuted in 2022, and his comments effectively put an end to the controversy.

Charter talks continue to go on behind the scenes and Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic provided an indepth look at what's happening, including how the top NASCAR official is meeting with teams on his terms. I offer my take on the situation and why I'm concerned as well as highlight something very interesting revealed in the article.
