On September 6, 2023, the National Museum of Military Vehicles hosted the National High Altitude Aviation Training Site (HAATS). Two Sikorsky UH60 Black Hawks and one CH47 Chinook helicopter landed and provided an opportunity for the public to view these remarkable aircraft up close. Visitors engaged with the crew, saw the helicopters up close and gained insights into HAATS' unique highaltitude training methods.
