రాయలసీమకు త్వరలో మహర్దశ రాబోతోంది. గతంలో ఎన్నడూలేనంతలా ఆర్థిక, పారిశ్రామిక వృద్ధితో సీమ జిల్లాలు పరుగులు పెట్టనున్నాయి. ఇందుకు ప్రధాన కారణం.. ఉమ్మడి కర్నూలు, అనంతపురం జిల్లాల మీదగా వెళ్లే హైదరాబాద్ బెంగళూరు జాతీయ రహదారిని నాలుగు వరుసల నుంచి ఏకంగా 12 వరుసలకు విస్తరించడమే. రెండు మెట్రో నగరాల మధ్య వాహన రద్దీని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని, భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలను అంచనా వేసి.. ఈ రహదారిని విస్తరించేందుకు కేంద్రం సిద్ధమైంది. ఈ జాతీయ రహదారిలో 260 కిలోమీటర్లు మన రాష్ట్ర పరిధిలో ఉండటంతో.. దాని వెంబడి అన్ని విధాలా అభివృద్ధికి అవకాశం ఏర్పడుతుంది
