I meant to visit Bulgaria several times in the last couple of years but it was never meant to work out. However, when we got the chance to include it in our docu trip, I knew that the area of the national revival architecture villages was the one I wanted to visit the most. Despite a certain amount of tourism, I find this particular region massively overlooked, yet extremely outstanding in comparison with a lot of other old towns in Europe. That being said, let me take you there!
