#NVC #NationalVisaCenter #I130Petition

Brett on Facebook asks, I got an I797 over
two months ago.
That's the receipt notice, but no letter from National Visa
Center. Tried emailing.
No answer from them.
Try to emailing consulate and
no answer. Is the NVC shut down?
The National Visa Center is not shut down.
So what the situation is here is I think they're saying their
I130 petition was approved and they got the notice.
It's been two months in the National visa center has not
yet responded.
So what's next?
Well, not supposed to contact the Embassy they have nothing
to do with this the, national visa center is processing cases,
but they're slower, but there's a big inconsistency I have cases
where the i130 is approved and we get the NVC Notice
before the [USCIS] approval notice or a day after and now have some
cases two to three months go by before the national visa
center notifies us to begin Consular processing.
So you may have to wait a few more weeks.
There's also an email.
It's [email protected] or something like that that's
intended for these kind of situations when you're not getting
the notice quick enough.
You can try contacting them, but waiting two or three months
is not abnormal, but that's something that you could try check
with the email is again.
I'm saying off the top of my head.
I have it saved on my computer, but I think it's NVC Research
@ state.gov or something like that. Look into that hopefully
information help.
