Nationwide: Subterranean Homeowner Blues

Ridiculously nagging and insistent advert for the Nationwide Building Society from the nineties. The Dylan reference isn't entirely (or at all) accurate as it's really a takeoff of I've Been Everywhere, but I just couldn't resist the title. Also people looking for Dylan will now find this file, boosting my selfesteem very slightly.

My sources originally claimed that it was from 1997 but that's bollocks, this campaign started around 1992 and carried on until we were sick of it. The song is composed by Hart & Campbell (also responsible for LWT's 1994 jingle and the fantastic theme from Rockcliffe's Babies) and sung by Bob Saker with Stephanie de Sykes and the legendary Clare Torry backing him up.
