Naturehike Spire Review Budget Trekking Pole Wild Camping Pyramid Tent

I review the Naturehike Spire tent, which is a budget, lightweight pyramid tent made from silnylon. I used this tent a few weeks back in the video above prior to filming this review.

This tent is ideal for 2/3 season wild camping if you can live with the colours and more compact space.

Pro's:

Relatively lightweight at 1600 grams
Compact pack sizes which can be made even smaller if using stuff sacks
Reasonably well made
Utilises a single trekking pole for pitching
Simple to pitch
Stable, with many guy out points
Good air flow which will prevent / reduce condensation
decent porch and handy half moon door in mesh to access without fully exiting inner

Cons:

Bright colours only (orange and white) so does not blend in not a tent for stealth camping
smaller tent, 210 x 210 cm footprint just about fits me in at 6ft tall, if you require lots of headroom or don't like your feet touching the inner (if you're 6ft or above) this may not be the tent for you
supplied pegs would struggle in snow or soggy ground
one way zippers, cannot vent from top
only one entrance / exit
full mesh inner will not prevent drafts and will be colder which could limit 4 season use
