Keynote Address by Pratap Bhanu Mehta | Navigating our Times
Pratap Bhanu Mehta is one of India’s leading academics, and the Laurence S Rockefeller Visiting Professor at Princeton University. Dr Mehta delivered the keynote address to open this edition of our culture festival Should Art 2022. Here is a thoughtprovoking lecture on India’s social and cultural upheaval, and the unique abilities and opportunities that India has in moving forward into the future. In the midst of the everyday chaos that ensues our lives, Should Art has become that cultural compass to realign ourselves, where imagination leads experimentation and fluid thought flourishes. Building towards becoming South Asia’s flagship art and culture festival, we present work that is multidisciplinary, experimental, and independent. This is an immersion in a three weeklong celebration, through performances, immersive exhibitions, workshops, terrace bazaars, podcasts, and food.
