A game I didn't know happened. Leave it to me to drum up a new exhibition idea while putting off a backlog of descriptions to write. I came across an IG video about this NBA Africa game big man legends spared a few minutes on the floor for. It reminds me of footage that got around of players going after it in the 2011 lockout. I set out to cobble these teams together in their 2015 incarnations. You can't adjust rotations for Euroleague teams so I've assigned them to jersey colors I thought worked. Their playbooks are handed down from their head coaches (SpursWorld, NetsUSA). I never knew you could coopt MyPlayer's Rookie Showcase arena.

At first sight Africa has no guards on their roster. There's seven bigs who are a center or power forward splitting at the five. We're counting Serge Ibaka as healthy for their best lineup. They're going to have to rely on playmaking by Boris Diaw, Batum, Giannis a point project in 2016 and Deng. The dearth of small ballhandlers is builtin size superiority. Box scores aren't readily available but we're holding Dikembe and Hakeem to small roles. Looking ahead at the real game they roll out three wings + two centers, leaving Deng to stay in front of CP3? Team USA gets weird too presenting Faried at SF lol. I have no idea what philosophies of these teams are without seeing it.
