On the NCLEX exam, it is inevitable you will receive selectallthatapply type questions. This NCLEX SATA practice question will test your ability on how to analyze a scenario for a patient with heart failure in regards to developing nursing interventions for the nursing care plan.

For this specific SATA NCLEX practice question, you must know the pathophysiology of heart failure and the basics about the medication Furosemide (Lasix).

You're developing a nursing care plan for a patient who has a diagnosis of congestive heart failure exacerbation. The patient has bilateral 2+ pitting edema in the lower extremities, extreme dyspnea on exertion, and crackles in the right and left lower bases of the lungs.
