On this episode of Generation Red: A Husker Podcast, Scott and I are honored to be joined by Nebraska Football legends Grant Wistrom & Jared Tomich. Anyone who watched the Blackshirts in the mid90's know who these fine gentlemen are, and many a former college quarterback likely still experience night terrors after being pulverized by these two and their teammates. Peyton Manning, anyone?

On this show we will talk to the guys about what they're up to these days, discuss the glory years, and the Championship Mindset that was cultivated back then, and ask them when and where they believe the program began to slip. Then, the boys will answer a few questions from our live audience, and social media. Finally, we wrap things up by discussing the current team, and if The Bookends believe Matt Rhule and his 2024 Huskers will begin to right the ship, and signal Nebraska's eventual return to greatness on the national stage.
