Neck strengthening is significant in jiujitsu, martial arts, and grappling. The cervical spine is also one of the most commonly injured areas we treat from BJJ. As a result, it is very important to strengthen the neck and upper back to help rehabilitate, and if possible, prevent neck pain.

Please note that during the video, we mentioned a wrestler's bridge and mentioned "Isometric" when the actual movement is not an isometric. Some people will do the wrestler bridge and hold as an isometric but often times the movement is very dynamic and can cause compression on the neck. We felt that it was important to be as accurate as possible when going through this info.
