Central government filed an affidavit in Supreme Court saying that there was no "mass malpractice" in the 2024 NEETUG exam. The Centre said that the data analytics done by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras showed that mark distribution followed a bellshaped curve that is seen in any largescale exam, indicating no abnormalities.
